Sacred Mountain River Suites

What a great spot. Wendy the host is very accommodating and friendly, the whole property is clean and has a fresh yet ancient feel. Very quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed the private baths. Very Spiritual. We are Wiccan and decided to spend Easter here. We were not disappointed.

Our suite was perfect and had everything we needed for our quick trip to Kernville. The place was extremely clean and a great work environment, which helped with my zoom meetings. Restaurants and groceries were super convenient which was nice. We had a great time, thank you so much for the great stay, Wendy!

My Family and I had a blast this past weekend at Sacred Mountain River Suites. Wendy gave me an hour long massage that was hands down the best massage EVER! My Husband and I also got to enjoy the outside shower and a hot mineral bath which was so smoothing and relaxing. Thank you Wendy, Kevin and Logan for a rememberable weekend.

I could not have asked for a more perfect getaway. The suite was beautiful and had everything I needed to relax for a few days. I took advantage of the massage/bodywork sessions that were on offer as well. The owner, Wendy has decades of experience in the practice and it shows. The location is peerless, and the attention to detail on every corner of the property made for a magical experience. I spent the days hopping from campground to campground along the river, playing in the waterfalls, literally until the road ran out and I had to turn back. On the way back, I had an incredible burger at a roadside joint who's name escapes me, but it’s the only cafe on mtn hwy 99. Can’t miss it. The stargazing at night was top-notch. I saw a great display of the Southern Taurid meteor shower and was able to brush up on my knowledge of the late summer night sky. One of the best parts was coming back to Sacred Mountain River Suites to sleep it off and attack the mighty Kern again the next day! I recommend at least one bodywork session for every two days of attacking the river. River attacking is hard work. Thank you to Wendy and her family for the perfect place to stay and I’m looking forward to bringing my mom back to stay in the spring.

My family and I went up to Kernville and stayed at Sacred Mountain River Suites. What a magical little hotel/inn nestled near the Kern River. My Wife was super excited about the mineral baths as well as the hot/cold therapy. She also got a 1 hour Massage by Wendy and when she came back she was a whole new woman. Even my daughter was stoked to have her WiFi even though we were way up in the mountains. We made the trek to the Trail of Hundred Giants Trailhead for a breathtaking hike of some of the most majestic red woods I have ever seen. We will definitely be coming back again to enjoy this one in a million Kernville hotel right by the Kern River. Plenty to do nearby like river rafting and even a general store that serves some good BBQ. Come and check it out! Thanks Wendy/Kevin/Logan for being such great hosts!

My husband & I absolutely love this place. It is the perfect location! The suites are cozy, spacious and very clean. The massages and the soaking tubs are amazing! The owner Wendy is the sweetest person...we absolutely adore her will continue to go back to this hidden gem. Scott & Tracy Powers

This is a wonderful place to stay! Spacious and very clean. They had everything we needed and were there to answer any questions. Wendy and Logan were very friendly and wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

We loved this place. I went on a family vacation. Clean, cute, and a great owner! The spa, bath, and living space were so sweet and well kept. You feel like a guest in someone's home, and we just loved our time here. Wendy is so great! We had massages, and mineral baths were excellent. It was walking distance from a great spot on the Kern River. We will be back!
